Dingle Cycling Club and Elite Event Management announced details this week of the second Ride Dingle which will take place on Saturday April 25th 2020.
The event offers two routes of 55km or 120km to choose from, the longer route encapsulating Ireland’s legendary highest mountain pass, Conor Pass. Registration for this year’s event will open on Thursday 8th August.
Ride Dingle 2019 proved extremely popular with locals and visitors alike this year. Charity donations totalling more than €16.5k were distributed amongst local charities and communities including Camphill Community, Dingle Tidy Towns, Cuan Counselling Service, Dingle Cliff and Coast Rescue, Dingle St Vincent de Paul, Camp Community Council, Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation along with some local schools.
President of Dingle Cycling Club Paidí Fitzgerald, said, “We are thrilled to announce the return of Ride Dingle for its second year, the event has enormous potential and we want to share that with as many people as possible. It’s a very challenging and rugged part of the world but it will provide you with great memories of a special cycle. We look forward to welcoming new and past participants for what will prove to be another great weekend in Dingle”

The event which will take place on Saturday 25th April 2020 will open for registration on 8th August with a launch special of €10 off the standard price of both the 55km (standard price €45) and 120km (standard price €65) routes for the first one hundred registrations.
